Hi, I'm Emily!

I am the primary Occupational Therapist and Founder of Little Daisy Occupational Therapy.

I’ve spent my career working in early intervention and child development consulting positions where I have provided support to children, families and early years educators in a variety of clinic and community settings on the Mornington Peninsula.

I am passionate about using an ‘occupational therapy lens’ in my practice and I value the opportunity to empower others to take this view as well. This can provide greater insight to caregivers and allows them to have a broader understanding of their child’s needs, abilities and ways to improve their participation in valued daily activities.

I value building strong connections with the children and the families that I work alongside. There is no better feeling than celebrating children’s success as they achieve their goals in a safe, playful learning environment.

Little Daisy Occupational Therapy is a private, mobile and clinic-based paediatric service based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. We provide services for children aged 2 to 10.

At Little Daisy Occupational Therapy, we use a 'whole child' approach when working with families. This means that we focus on all aspects of the child’s development and daily life that can impact their ability to engage in the world around them.

We passionately strive to empower families and educators to dive deeper into understanding the little humans that they are supporting so that EVERYONE can feel more empowered, confident and happy!

Our Approach

to therapy

Mission

We believe that children should be seen, heard and understood. We strive to provide quality therapy that supports children to reach their full potential. We are a family-centered practice that enables families and caregivers to feel empowered to participate in their child’s therapy journey. It is our goal to help children to express themselves and make sense of their world the best way they know how – by playing and having fun!

Vision

Our vision is to nurture children and support their development of lifelong skills, allowing them to participate in meaningful activities. This develops our children’s independence and confidence, enabling them to experience success emotionally, socially, physically and beyond!

Values

Little Daisy represents joy, playfulness and new beginnings. We aim to create a safe space that values choice, uniqueness and positivity, allowing children to be unapologetically themselves and to enjoy the things they love! Our goal is to support families through the challenges and hardships they experience and provide them with the resources to continue to support their child’s bright start to life.
